Chicken Pepper Stir-Fry

We were in the mood for chicken, but wanted to spice it up (no pun intended... seriously haha). I think I was also craving pepper steak, which is odd considering I don't eat red meat. Nonetheless, this was born and very yummy. Definitely something I would make again. I hope you enjoy it!

1 lb of chicken breasts, cut into strips
1 medium onion, sliced
1 red pepper, sliced
1 yellow pepper, sliced
1 can sliced water chestnuts, drained
1 cup teriyaki sauce

1. Cook the chicken in a skillet with a little oil, until no longer pink.
2. After chicken is cooked, push off to the side and add onions and peppers. Cook until tender.
3. Add water chestnuts and teriyaki sauce. Let simmer for 10-15 minutes.
4. Serve over rice.
